My Teaching Philosophy:  I would like to create an inviting classroom environment where the students feel heard, seen, and valued. I want students from all different backgrounds to be represented and celebrated. I want my students to feel safe in my classroom, backed by community and empowerment. I want students to feel self-worth and believe in themselves as much as I believe in them by providing them with the tools to succeed and learn from their failures. I believe that failures are our biggest lessons and trying again shows strength. I believe children are capable of much more than they are given credit for, and they should be held to high standards. Children are our future and we must prepare them to be successful.
