What is a "Mind Jar?"
A Mind Jar is a meditation tool to use whenever a child feels stressed, overwhelmed or upset. Imagine the glitter as your thoughts. When you shake the jar, imagine your head full of whirling thoughts, then watch them slowly settle while you calm down.
How to Use a Mind Jar:
1. Shake the jar until the sparkles are spinning around- this represents your mind when it is busy, upset, or mad.
2. Set the jar down and take deep breaths slowly.
3. Notice how the sparkles settle slowly down to the bottom. As they do that let your thoughts settle too.
4. Continue this until all the sparkles have settled at the bottom.

How to Make a Mind Jar:
Ingredients
Glass or plastic jars/bottle
1/2 cup Glitter glue or clear glue
Warm water
Glitter (Can use different colors and sizes)
Instructions
Fill half the bottle/jar with water.
Pour 1/2 cup of glitter glue or clear glue into the jar/bottle.
Add glitter to the jar/bottle.
Fill up the remainder of the jar with water
Shake the jar well to distribute the glitter.
