The Adelsohn Family Scholarship

Awarded to a student who has shown leadership and service to their community and has maintained a minimum GPA of 3.5.

The Allen "Jake" Jacobson Memorial Scholarship

The mission of The Jake Foundation is to provide a scholarship to an LHS graduating senior lacrosse or football player who will attend college and actively continue in the sport at the club or collegiate level or through coaching.  Successful candidates will have characteristics exhibiting leadership, determination, humility, and a sense of humor.

The Livingston Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2856 Veterans Scholarship

Awarded to a high school senior with an immediate family member (parent, grandparent, sibling, or guardian) who is or was in the U.S. military. The scholarship recognizes academic achievement, commitment to community service, and military tradition.  Applicants must have a 2.5 GPA or higher and have completed at least 20 hours of volunteer service (preference given to those who have volunteered for veteran-related causes).  Applicants are required to complete supplemental question(s).

The Michael Somekh Courage Award

Awarded to senior LHS athletes who have conquered a personal struggle in their own life.  Michael Somekh was born & raised in Livingston and continues to be a huge part of the community. Mike was one of the first Covid victims in Livingston and was hospitalized, fighting for his life every day. After a long and hard three-month battle, Mike was released and was able to go back home! Sports have always been a huge part of Mike's life, he was the captain of the LHS varsity baseball team and continues to support the team as an Alumni! 

The Mike Jeskey Memorial Scholarship

In honor of Heritage Middle School technology teacher Mike Jeskey, this scholarship is awarded to a senior pursuing a career in Technology or Engineering. Applicants must have completed at least two classes within the technology department while attending LHS. Applicants are required to complete supplemental question(s).

The Pat Tetta Scholarship

Awarded to a senior who exudes kindness, generosity, school leadership, academic progress and ability to inspire others.

The Rita L. Gogel Award

Awarded to a senior whose activities in the opinion of the faculty and administrators, exemplifies the finest ideals of community service, caring, compassion, and giving to others. The Rita L. Gogel award was created by her family in recognition of her lifelong commitment to children and the profession of teaching.

The Wrestling Club of Livingston Scholarship

Awarded to senior wrestlers who were members of the Jr. Lancer Wrestling Club of Livingston through their 8th grade season and wrestled all four years at LHS.  Candidates have shown dedication and commitment to the sport of wrestling while embodying the VIrtues.

UNICO Livingston Chapter Scholarship

Awarded to a well-rounded senior who has shown a desire/passion for: 1. Community Service (UNICO motto "Service Above Self") 2. High Academic Achievement – grades and extracurricular activities 3. Work experience.  Applicants are required to complete supplemental question(s).

UNICO Trade School Award

Awarded to a senior who will attend a trade school in the fall and has participated in some form of community service and extracurricular activities.

Vivian Press Award for Excellence in Fine Arts  (painting, print making or sculpture)

Awarded to a senior who has shown extraordinary ability in Fine Arts (painting, printmaking, or sculpture). Student must be choosing a career path in the arts.

West Essex YMCA Strengthening Community Scholarship

Awarded to a senior who has some past or present YMCA participation.  Preference will be given to a student interested in service to community or non-profit organizations.
