Home Drawing Assignment INstructions

Supplies: 

• Pencil (no color pencils or crayons) 

• Eraser

•  8 1⁄2” X 11” White Paper

• Please do not use any other supplies

Applicants should set up an interesting, creative still life composition. The drawing may be either vertical or horizontal and should be sized to fit the page. Items should be overlapping, set up on a table. Students should include a range of values in their artwork. The composition should consist of three items.

Suggested Items:

• Mug

• Flowers

• Small Plant

• Cup with liquid inside

• Fruit

• Utensils, such as a spoon or fork  

• Vase

• Coffee or Teapot 

• Toaster

• Small toys or electronics
