IMPORTANT 2026-2027 SCHEDULING DATES
January 14th: Course Preview Day @ LHS.
January 23rd: Due date for all courses that have required course forms/assessments are due by 8:00 a.m.
February 4th: Teacher recommendations are posted in Genesis.
*Please note: this was updated to February 4th after our snow date and delayed opening on January 26th and January 27th due to weather conditions.
February 5th – March 27th: Individual student scheduling meetings with school counselors. Students are strongly encouraged to enter course requests into Genesis prior to your scheduling meeting.
March 27th - April 8th: Course Verification Week. Student and parent deadline to confirm course selections in Genesis and to request any change prior to master schedule construction.
April 8th: Course verification deadline. Any change requests made after April 8th at 3:00 p.m. will not be honored and must be requested during our Schedule Change Window 1.
Mid-June: Course lists for 2026-2027 schedules posted in Genesis.
June 22nd – August 5th: Schedule Change Request Window 1.
August 5th: Deadline to request schedule changes by 3:00 p.m. No change requests will be honored after August 5th at 3:00 p.m.
Late August: Student schedules posted in Genesis. All student fees/fines must be paid in order to view student schedules.
**Please note: students cannot make any elective or course change request after Window 1 (August 5th at 3:00 p.m.).
An elective change request includes any elective course in Core content areas (English, Math Science, Social Studies and World Language), in addition to electives in our Business, Technology, Art, Music and Theatre departments. Additionally, students cannot change from one course to another after Window 1 (the summer schedule change window).
Example: a student enrolled in Environmental Science cannot request to change into Physics after the conclusion of Window 1.
