SOUTH LIVINGSTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
We’re inviting men from across our community to take part in a high-energy, one-day “Dad Skills” event! We need you to lead a hands-on Training Module where you’ll teach a practical skill that can make a meaningful, lasting impact in the life of a young man.
Training stations will be set up throughout the gym, and our 4th-6th grade young men of SLES will rotate through each one, guided and supervised by school staff. It’s a simple, powerful way to invest in the next generation—and your involvement makes all the difference.
Stations might include…
¨ Dress Code: Officer Ready = How to tie a tie
¨ Command Greeting Protocol = Handshake
¨ Tool Handling = Maintenance Crew Training
¨ Rope & Rigging Lab = Knot Tying
¨ Officer Etiquette Briefing = Manners
¨ Torque Leaders = all you need to know about wrenches
¨ Skydeck Ops = How to put up a tent
¨ Top Fuel = MREs and Nutrition
¨ First Aid Flight School = First Aid
¨ Drone Recon = Flying a Drone
¨ Flight Plan 101 = Understanding maps, directions, and navigation
¨ Additional ideas are welcomed, but will need approval
