Check each of your classes' Google Classroom for posted lessons and work.
During Academic Support or Homeroom upon your return, be sure to check in with all of your teachers to get missing work and ask questions/get help with assignments and classwork. If you missed a test or a quiz, be sure to set up a time with the teacher to make up said missing assessment.
Be sure to email your teachers if you're struggling at all so that they may set up a time to meet with you if necessary.
ALL WORK ASSIGNED WHILE YOU'RE OUT MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE GIVEN DUE DATE.
Time schedules can be found here.
Assignments can be found in each subject area's Google Classroom or physical classroom.
Class materials can be found in each subject area's Google Classroom or physical classroom. Your student must be logged into his or her Liverpool account in order to access his or her Google Classroom. Physical materials can often be picked up in the Main Office if absent for an extended period of time.
Work will be submitted in person (as the assignment is paper) or via Google Classroom. Assignments due in Google Classroom are turned in by simply selecting the "turn in" button featured in each assignment. Feel free to watch this video for further clarification and step-by-step directions.
Grades can be found on SchoolTool. Please note that grades are not immediately updated upon the submission of an assignment. So, if an assignment has been turned in, it may take a few days for the teacher to grade and input the grade into the grade book. While some grades may be viewable in Google Classroom (teacher-dependent), SchoolTool is the district's official record-keeping program and is what is used to ultimately report student grades.
The type of feedback provided to students is based on the type of assignment. Most digital assignments will have feedback within the assignment but feedback is platform-to-platform dependent.
Autonomy is an important life skill that we heavily stress in 7th grade. Therefore, we encourage students to contact their teacher via e-mail or Google Classroom regarding academic help FIRST before parental involvement. Teacher emails can be found on the district webpage and our Team 7 Orange home page.
For further overall tech help, please refer to our district's K-8 Technology Specialist, Scott Burgess. He can be reached via email (tburgess@liverpool.k12.ny.us) or via the district's technology department phone number found below.
If after troubleshooting a specific issue and there is no resolution, please contact your teacher with questions via email or Google Classroom.
You may also use the Student Technology Help Desk for student-related Technology Questions. The number is 315-459-6900, and it is staffed from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM daily. You may leave a voicemail during other times as well.
