Welcome to the School Counselor Page!
I am Beth Serafin and I am the school counselor for the 7S and 8S teams. I have been at Soule Road Middle for 15 years. Before that, I worked at Chestnut Hill Middle and Liverpool High School. I received a BS in Psychology from Binghamton University and a MS and Certificate of Advanced Studies in Counselor Education from Syracuse University.
I am Jessica Kersey and I am the school counselor for the 7R and 8R teams. I received my BA in Psychology and Sociology from LeMoyne College and I completed my Master’s degree in mental health counseling and my Certificate in Advanced Study in School Counseling from Syracuse University. I began in Liverpool CSD in 2006 as a school counselor at the Liverpool High School Annex and then onto Nate Perry, Elmcrest and Donlin Drive Elementary. I transitioned to Soule Road Middle in 2015.
As your child's school counselor, our role is to be a support to their academic, social, and emotional growth and development. Our mission as your child's school counselor is to help to support students to be their best selves, with a focus on emotional regulation and problem solving within a growth mindset.
