Teacher Info

My name is Mrs. Nicole Massenzio and I am your child's French teacher. Because I will be spending a lot of time with them this year, I wanted to share with you a few things about myself, both personally and professionally.

I am from Syracuse and attended pre-k through 12th grade in the Syracuse City School District. I was able to learn and grow in a diverse environment with excellent educators. My high school French teacher inspired me to learn more than just French so, I have a foundation in the Italian language as well. This teacher is the reason why I have such a passion for language and passing it on to young people.

I started teaching in the Liverpool Central School District in 2013. Before coming to Liverpool, I taught for 8 years at Weedsport Jr. Sr. High School, and had student teaching placements at Chittenango Middle School and Hannibal High School. I received both my B.A. and M.S. degrees from SUNY Oswego. I have been learning and speaking French since 1993. I also have some knowledge of Italian and Spanish. I studied and lived in Québec City and Montreal where I was taught by some of the best grammar and communication professors.

I have many great memories connected with learning the French language and that is my goal this year for your child. My hopes are that when they look back on their time with me, it was rewarding, challenging, and most of all, enjoyable.

I am looking forward to a great year in French class. Please visit my site frequently so that you can see some of the great learning experiences we will be having. Please feel free to call me at Soule Road Middle School or email me, if you have any questions or concerns.
