Reading Help

This page gives you many ways to help your child with reading at home. Below are some quick descriptions of where you should start based on your child's level. If you are unsure of their level, please email us and ask!

Where Should I Start?

If your child is working on learning their letters and sounds, start with the LETTER SOUND section.

If your child knows their letter sounds and is working on reading CVC words like these, but is not yet consistent or able to easily read them, start with the CVC WORDS section.

If your child can easily read CVC words but still is working on sound out words with 4 sounds such as these, start with the CONSONANT CLUSTERS section.

If your child can easily read words with consonant clusters (flip, swim) but is working on reading words with digraphs (sh, ch, th) start with the DIGRAPHS section.
