Dr. Khaled Alhaj Ali serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Lebanese International University (LIU). He started this position in September 2024.
He received his Master’s degree in Signal, Telecommunications, Image, and Speech (STIP) in 2016 from Lebanese University, Faculty of Sciences, Beirut, Lebanon. He obtained his Ph.D. in Electronics from IMT Atlantique, France, in 2020, with research focused on emerging non-volatile memory technologies and memory-centric computing architectures.
From 2020 to 2022, Dr. Alhaj ali was a a Postdoctoral Researcher at IMT Atlantique, where he worked on the in-memory realization of Binary Neural Networks (BNNs) using non-volatile memory technologies for energy-efficient edge AI hardware. During the same period, he also served as a laboratory assistant, working on FPGA-based processor design and image processing accelerators.
