We provide in-home consultations and service coordination to make sure your child is getting the education he/she deserves! We review all information carefully and make recommendations that are data-driven and have your child's best interest in mind. We offer a free initial consultation session to discuss your child and what services we could offer...book now for free!
We can also provide school-based consulting services for individual schools or school districts. Please contact us directly for more information on school-based services.
We work with your family to help you prioritize according to your own values and beliefs in parenting. We develop a plan together to optimize how you are interacting with your child/children at home to foster a more calm environment and form deeper relationships between family members. There is no "right way" to parent! We will help you find the strategies that work best in your home and with your family, that align with your family's values, and give you the tools you need to be successful!
We develop and implement home-based therapy programs based on principles of applied behavior analysis that are individually tailored to each child's strengths and needs. We also provide parent and family trainings, working closely with families to help them manage behaviors and teach new skills as the need arises.
Functional Behavior Assessment:
Discover what is behind that frustrating behavior! A functional behavior assessment includes a family history, ecological analysis, and observations/data collection. A complete FBA can take up to 5 sessions, but the family history can be completed during the FREE initial consultation, minimizing the amount of sessions you need to pay for. At the end of the FBA, you will receive a behavior support plan that is tailored to your child's individualized needs, as well as training for implementing the plan.
Behavior Support Plan Follow-Up:
After conducting an FBA and writing an individualized behavior support plan, we highly recommend booking a follow-up assessment each month to monitor the plan and your child's progress. These sessions can also be used to provide follow-up trainings on implementing the behavior support plan.
Language and Learning Assessment:
This assessment covers a very broad spectrum of skills that affect language development and your child's ability to access learning. This assessment is essential in developing a successful home program and monitoring progress!
PLEASE NOTE: Our goal is always to work ourselves out of a job! We want to give you the tools you need at home so you don't need us anymore!
To accomplish this goal, we require family involvement in all services, including direct instruction. This helps parents and other caregivers learn the best way to interact with and teach by using your child's unique strengths.
