Dustin Tipton-Johnson, Treasurer
Dustin is a Eugene-area native and a father of two, the eldest is currently enrolled at LFS, and the youngest is scheduled to enroll in the fall of 2021. Passionate about language, travel, and cross-cultural experiences, Dustin speaks primarily Spanish at home with his kids and is thrilled to find an immersion pre-school like LFS in Eugene to further enrich his children's language and cultural exposure. He received a degree in International Studies and Public Policy Administration at Western Oregon University before spending two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua. Dustin later went to work for a coffee importation company, first as a translator, then as a coffee buyer, and ultimately as General Manager for Organic Products Trading Company in Vancouver, WA. During his time there he traveled extensively, meeting with Certified Organic and Fair Trade coffee producers around the world. He left that dream job to pursue his other dream of raising a family back in Eugene closer to his family.

Christine Sampley, Staff Representative
Being on the LFS Board is coming full circle for me. I first joined the LFS family as a parent with barely 3-year-old twins back in 2004. My children continued their French education in the 4J French Immersion program, which will culminate with their high school graduation in 2020. I wholeheartedly believe in the mission of the Little French School to provide an enriching French language education for young children, and this is why I volunteer my time and energy to this program. The staff here are beyond dedicated and put the kids first; this is something I can get 100% behind. I bring to the board my experience in editing, fundraising, and volunteering in the schools. I look forward to continuing to serve on the Board and working to see the school succeed.
