My name is Mrs. Burton and I am very excited to be your child’s first grade teacher. This is my 12th year here at Little Flock Christian Academy. My family and I moved to Louisville from Cincinnati Ohio in 2014. My husband Kyle and I have been married for 21 years. Our daughter Emma is in college and our son Rowen is a Senior at North Bullitt. We are also members of Little Flock Baptist Church. I graduated from Midway University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and received my Master’s degree in Education from the University of the Cumberlands.
My Mission
My mission is to provide students with a Christ centered, positive and engaging learning environment where students are motivated to learn and reach their full potential. I strive to be a positive role model and make a difference in each and every child. I believe in implementing fun and engaging lessons through a variety of teaching strategies and incorporating a multitude of hands on learning activities to stimulate student’s minds. My goal is to provide students with an excellent education while developing inner character and sharing God's truths with them.
