“Wedding Movie Madness Bracket Challenge”

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Eligibility: Chapel of the Flowers "Wedding Movie Madness Bracket Challenge" (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the United States (excluding New York and Florida) and any other countries where these rules are not in violation of local laws and who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Chapel of the Flowers, LLC, its wedding vendors, Tropicana LV Weddings and their parent and affiliate companies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Entrants that have claimed a prize from Sponsor in the past (12) months are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

3. Timing:

The Bracket Challenge Contest (the “Contest”) consists of (2) periods. These periods are the “Sweepstakes Period” and the “Tournament Voting Period”. The full contest time-frame (which includes these (2) periods) will run from March 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT"), and ends on March 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. PT"), and ends on April 1st, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. PT.

Sweepstakes Period:

The Sweepstakes begins on March 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT"), and ends on March 12, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. PT (the "Sweepstakes Period"), and consists of entrant filling out, completing, and submitting “Prediction Bracket” on contest website (bit.ly/weddingbracket).

Tournament Voting Periods

After Sweepstake Period the Voting (the “Tournament Voting Periods”) will being on March 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time ("PT"), and ends on April 1st, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. PT, and consists of the public voting for winner in each match-up “game”, as set forth in the chart below:

Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

4. How to Enter: One (1) way to enter:

Predict which “Wedding Movie Title” will Receive the Most Public Votes in each Match Up “Game” by Submitting a “Prediction Bracket” on the “Wedding Movie Madness Bracket Challenge” Website: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit bit.ly/weddingbracket (the “Promotion Site”) and click on “Create Your Bracket” to enter contest with Full Name and Email. After registering, create a “Prediction Bracket” of which Wedding Movie Titles will win each match-up “game” in each round. Public voting will determine winners in each round. Brackets must be created and submitted before March 12, 2021 at 4:00 pm PT to be valid.

Limited Submission:

Submissions are limited to (1) Prediction Bracket per person. Any person(s) that submit more than (1) Prediction Bracket will be automatically be disqualified from the Sweepstakes and all submitted brackets will become invalid.

5. Drawings:

Sweepstake Period Drawing:

Chapel of the Flowers will be using Common Ninja (third party vendor) for submissions and tallying participants “Prediction Brackets”. Participants must submit their “Prediction Brackets” using this platform. No other form(s) of Bracket submission will be accepted. Bracket submissions will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. PT on March 1, 2021 until 4:00 p.m. PT on March 12, 2021. Any submissions not within the Sweepstakes period will be consider invalid.

Tournament Voting Periods Drawings:

Chapel of the Flowers will be using Google Forms as a voting platform. Once the Sweepstakes Period has concluded, the “Tournament Voting Periods” will start on March 15, 2021 at 10 am PT. There will be (4) rounds for voting. Round (1) voting will consist of (16) Wedding Movies Titles, Round (2) voting will consist of (8) Wedding Movies Titles, Round (3) voting will consist of (4) Wedding Movies Titles and Round (4) voting will consist of (2) Wedding Movies Titles to determine the “Winning” Wedding Movie Title(s) for each round and the bracket “tournament”. The public and participants will be notified on Chapel of the Flowers’ Social Media Pages: Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/LasVegasChapel), Twitter (https://twitter.com/littlechapel), and Instagram Stories (https://www.instagram.com/littlechapel) at the start of each round (as listed in “Timing”) and during each round to vote on bit.ly/weddingbracket (the “Promotion Site”) for their “favorite” wedding movie title in each match up.

After each round has ended, Chapel of the Flowers will determine the “Winning” Wedding Movie Title in each match up by analyzing the voting data collected in Google Forms, and update the “Scoreboard” Bracket on the Promotional Site after each round has ended to show the winners of each round.

Bracket Scoring:

If a participant predicted the correct “Winning” Wedding Movie Title on their “Prediction Bracket” they will receive (1) point for each correct prediction. There is a total of (15) points available. A perfect bracket will have (15) points after the “tournament” is complete.

Winner Determination:

Once the “Tournament Voting Periods” has ended, Chapel of the Flowers will review point totals in Common Ninja bracket platform, to determine (1) winner. A “Prediction Bracket” with 100% of the predictions correct will receive (15) total points. The “Grand Prize” will be awarded to (1) participant that predicted the “Winning” Wedding Movie Titles in all (15) match-up “games”. If there is no participant(s) with (15) total points, then (1) participant with the next highest point total will win the “Consolation Prize”. Only (1) participant will be allowed to claim the “Prize”.

Multiple Participant Winners: If there are multiple participants with (15) points (or) highest point totals, a random drawing will be conducted to determine the winner.

Winner Disclaimers:

Potential winner will be contacted by email given in contest entry. Except where prohibited, potential winner will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability and Publicity Release ("Declaration") must be received by Sponsor, within three (3) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim the prize. If a potential winner of prize cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the Declaration or meet contest requirements within the required time period, the potential winner forfeits the prize. Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by going back to list of entries and selecting the next entry with the highest correct picks. Only three (3) alternate drawings/qualifiers will be held/awarded, after which the prize will remain unawarded. Prize will be fulfilled approximately 2-4 weeks after winner confirmation.

6. Prize:

One (1) Grand Prize: $5,000 credit to use towards a wedding at Chapel of the Flowers.

* If Grand Prize requirements (listed under “Winner Determination” in “Drawings”) cannot be met, a “Consolation Prize” will be given.

One (1) Consolation Prize: $1,000 credit to use towards a wedding at Chapel of the Flowers.

* There will be only (1) winner, they will receive either (1) Grand Prize or (1) Consolation Prize based on the results of the participants “Prediction Bracket”.

See “Winner Determination” in “Drawings” for further explanation.

Prize Limitations:

Approximate Retail Value: $5,000 for Grand Prize ($1,000 for Consolation Prize).

If winner has already booked and paid (partial or in-full) for a wedding at Chapel of the Flowers, winner can use “Prize” as credit towards upgraded products to enhance their wedding package. If winner is already married, they can use the credit towards a Vow Renewal ceremony at Chapel of the Flowers. Credit cannot be used for refund or cash value.

Reservations:

Winner must make reservation for wedding before 12/31/2021 and credit is good for any wedding date in the future (after 4/10/2021) or prize will be forfeited. Sponsor will provide details regarding how to redeem prize and other restrictions after winner confirmation.

Prize Cancellation:

If winner decides to cancel, the Prize can be rebooked. There is no refund allowed for the “Prize” value. Funds that exceed the “Prize” value will default to the Chapel of the Flowers cancellation policies. Cancellations and reschedules will be enforced by Chapel of the Flowers cancellation and rescheduling policy. Prize cannot be cancelled to receive cash value.

Prize Disclaimers:

Prize can’t be used towards tax, minister fees, or gratuities. Prize is non-transferable, no cash or refund, no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable Entry Period.

7. Force Majeure. Neither Party will be liable for any failure or delay in performing an obligation under this Agreement that is due to any of the following causes, to the extent beyond its reasonable control: acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet service provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, generalized lack of availability of raw materials or energy.

For the avoidance of doubt, Force Majeure shall not include (a) financial distress nor the inability of either party to make a profit or avoid a financial loss, (b) changes in market prices or conditions, or (c) a party's financial inability to perform its obligations hereunder.

8. Release: By receipt of any prize, winners agree to release and hold harmless Chapel of the Flowers, and its wedding vendor partners, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.

9. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winner’s consent to Sponsor and its agents’ use of winner’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

10. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor and Co-Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

11. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen mail; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, if it is possible. If the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, is discontinued for any reason, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated prize will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated prize by a random drawing among all legitimate, un-awarded, eligible prize claims.

12. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Southern Division) or the appropriate Michigan State Court located in Oakland County, Michigan; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Michigan without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Michigan or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Michigan.
