Teaching Philosophy

I see the teacher's role as a facilitator, wherein each student brings in their prior experiences and skills and the teacher guides students to explore and reflect on strategies used to solve problems. My goal is to assist students in learning how to obtain knowledge beyond the classroom and become better advocates for themselves and their family.
