Meet the Library Media Specialist and Contact Information

I have been a teacher for twenty-eight years! After I graduated from Clark University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an elementary teaching certification, I taught fourth graders for seven years between a school in Somers, New York and one in Atkinson, New Hampshire. While I taught in NY, I earned my Masters of Education in Reading Education. When I returned to NH, which is where I mainly grew up, I wanted a change. I decided to return to graduate school at Salem State College to become a school library media specialist so that I could focus on two aspects of teaching that I love: literature and research. My first job as a library media specialist was at Griffin Memorial School, which I started in 2000 and this is where I have remained. I have a special fondness for the students, staff and parents in the GMS community.
