Classroom/Administrative Building

Red Thread was busy this week installing the A/V equipment and the furniture. Most of the A/V equipment has been installed and is operational. The furniture was delivered on Thursday and set up was started. In classroom 2 we elected to use a combination desk and chair which is on casters. This will allow us the flexibility to move students into work groups. All of the mechanical equipment has been started up and tested. State inspectors will be on site this week to inspect. The state elevator inspector has already been on site and has past the elevator.

The concrete pad around the burn building was poured this week. Still some grinding of the concrete walls to make them smooth to be done. They are also still waiting on the thermal monitoring control panel to arrive. This building is close to being complete.

Training Tower

As with the burn building some finish work being done. One or two section of the concrete apron had issues after being poured. They were jack-hammered out and new concrete will be poured Monday.

Site Work

Work continues on the perimeter fence. There will be an electronic rolling gate at the driveway. There will also be several swinging gates at various locations. Much of the landscaping has been done. The hydro-seeding was put off until next week as last weeks rains made to soil to soggy. The final concrete pad (dumpster) is ready to be poured. that should be done on Monday with the tower pour. Later in the remaining paving binder coat will be done. The final paving and striping will be done short after.
