Update May 19, 2018

Tiling has been completed on the first floor restrooms. The locker-rooms will be the next. The plumbers have started to install the fixtures. Water fountains through out the building and toilets in the men's restroom have been done.

The work on installing the elevator has been completed. Once we have an active telephone line the elevator can be inspected. The elevator shaft on the first floor has been blocked in. The second floor still needs to completed.

The canopy over the main entrance was installed this past week. The vestibule on the interior has also been installed.

The emergency generator has been installed. It will provide back-up power to the classroom/administration building.

The masons and concrete workers were busy this past week. The mason have much of the exterior block walls for the first floor installed. The first floor will be at grade in the front ("A" side). The rear ("B" side) has a hatch to simulate an entrance to below grade. The forms are in place for the third floor walls and columns. The concrete should have been poured, but I could not tell from the ground.

The masons continue to go higher with the block walls. Work has begun on the interior stairs. The forms are in place for the first section of stairs.
