Update July 28, 2018

Red Thread was busy installing A/V equipment this past week. Confidence monitors have been installed in each of the classrooms, signage boards on each floor, some of the classroom projectors and monitors and projector in the break-room. They still have more projectors to install, the media hub in the conference room, podiums in each classroom and then setting them up. Lockers have been installed in the locker-rooms. Window blinds were mostly completed last week. Looks like they only have a day or two to finish. Those rooms are close to being finished. Additional lockers still need to be installed in the hall. Much work was done in the apparatus bays. Radiant heaters, bay door openers, vehicle exhaust system, wall insulation and finishes were all done. The SCBA air compressor was delivered and wired.

Work on the thermal lining system continued last week. For the most part the ceiling and wall tiles have been installed. They are now working on installing the floor bricks. The brick for the first floor have been completed and they are now working on the third floor. More of the doors were installed last week along with roof top railings and rope anchor points. Railings for the stairs and more for the roof still need to be installed.

The standpipe system was started last week. More of the doors and rope anchors points were also installed. Roof, balcony and stairwell railings have not been started yet.

It appears the driveway leading into the fire school and the parking area are close to being paved. A paving box and rollers were on site over the weekend. They have started the finish grade in these areas. They will put down a binder coats for now. Prior to our opening they will put down a final coat and paint the lines. The training grounds are still having utility work done. The pad for the concrete propane (training props) was prepared and once the forms are in place will be poured.
