Update August 25, 2018

Finish work continues on the classroom/administrative building. The emergency generator was started on Friday and is working properly. The fire pumps are planned to be run for the first time on this coming Tuesday. The fie alarm and elevators are being scheduled for testing and inspection in the beginning of September. Phone lines were installed on Friday.

Railings have been installed. Still some corrective work on the railings for the rear stairs. Thermal couplings are being installed for the temperature monitoring system. Training props are starting to be installed. Burn racks where delivered this past week. They still need fire brick installed.

Railings are still being installed. The sprinkler lab in the first floor and standpipe in the stairs are being installed.

Still preparing for concrete around the burn building and training tower. Two 1,000 gallons propane tanks were delivered this past week. One is for the heating system and the other for training props. A date has been set for training school staff on the propane training props. A fence will encircle the entire facility. Most of the post are in and they have started with the top poles and wire fencing.
