Firefighter II

The Sherman Fire Department will be hosting this Firefighter II course. There is an on-line component to this class. The majority of classes will be held in Sherman. Some of the practical days will be at the Litchfield County Regional Fire School. The Firefighter II is designed to prepare the student for certification. The course includes both the practical and written exam. Books are not included in this course as they are the same ones used for Firefighter I. If a student does need a book, then they can be purchased at the school's cost. This is a less physically demanding course than Firefighter I, but students should still be in good physical shape. Students are expect to attend all sessions. Below you will find course schedule and the application. The course fee is $850.
