Compete in Science
UIL Science is a full-spectrum competition of science including biology, chemistry, physics, and more. This competition identifies the best scientists in Texas high schools, with graduation cords for successful scholars and scholarships availible for state-qualifying competitors.
The Coach
As an astrophysicist, engineer, and an Aggie, Liam Plybon has worked with nearly every field of science. Previously, he worked on designing cutting-edge telescopes and dark matter research.
Outside of school, he is the President and Secretary of the Astronomical Society of East Texas, a NASA Partner Eclipse Ambassador, and an astronomer.
