Spirit of Longview High School

The first Lobo marching band was formed in 1936, with only 50 members. The inaugural Longview High band director Mr. Leonard Fulkerson composed the music and lyrics for the LHS School Song that same year. Lyrics for the Longview Lobo fight song were also composed by Mr. Fulkerson the following year, set to the music of the Notre Dame Victory March.
