Hello! I'm Monica! I am an Instructional Technology Specialist at Longview ISD! This is my second year as an ITS and I have had so much fun helping teachers learn about technology in their classrooms! I have completed 5 years of teaching and I truly believe that technology can brighten your classroom! Don't worry- technology isn't as scary as it seems and I am here to make sure you feel comfortable with integrating it into your classroom and daily lessons! 

I have my M. Ed in Technology Leadership from Lamar University in Beaumont. 

Before starting my journey as an ITS, I was in the classroom for 5 years and taught 8th grade math. I am excited to, not only help math teachers but, teachers of all subjects, integrate the wonderful world of technology into their everyday classroom activities.
