Lisbon, OH has a lot of old buildings dating all the way back to 1803 and even before. Buildings stood tall through more than two centuries. No matter nationality, religion, or beliefs. People of Greek, German, Italian, Scottish, Scotts-Irish, and Irish descents came here to find a better way of life.The early settlers came with great hopes into this forested land. They hoped to not only carve a community, but a city, where all can come to live, no matter what you believe in.

The Courthouse Inn & Restaurant is located inside of the oldest building in Lisbon! This building was built in 1803.
The Naval Civil War Cannon in Lisbon Ohio is a great thing to see! There is one in the town square and an exact replica in the historic Lisbon Cemetery. The cannon and its twin at the cemetery were donated to New Lisbon by President Wm. McKinley (1897-1901).
The Steel Trolley used to be a popular hit in Lisbon.. This diner is a staple of our history. Sadly It closed down in 2018,but there are rumors about it re-opening! (under new management)
The Lepper library is well known through the village of Lisbon, it offers books, CD's, movies, and even video games! It was founded in 1897.This is a great place to come and study, use computers, or even go upstairs for youth books!
