F.R.O.G.S. stands for Fun Reading Of Good Stories!
We want to create a reading community where we encourage each other to read and reach our goals by working together!
1. We have 3 chromebooks that can be used for testing in the library! They will be set up at the end of the circulation desk and can be used any time of the day except when the library is closed from 10:45 a.m. - Noon. There may not always be help, but there will be available chromebooks.
2. We will try to find a couple of students to help in Mrs. Sherman's and Mrs. Erwin's Kindergarten classes in the mornings. NJHS and NHS advisors will be contacted.
3. The library windows that face the hallway will showcase what levels students are at! Their names are on frogs and will show them leaping from level to level! We already have 4 students who have reached level 1 or higher!
4. We are going to add the testing stats to the bulletin or send them out via email. Students will be working to reach personal goals and classrooms will be competing against each other!
5. Our overall goal for this school year is 6,000 tests!!! Students have already taken over 1,100 tests! They are doing awesome!
6. Reminder - Students can test from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily!
7. More opportunities for reading success may be coming in the future.
