Traditional Resumes

Traditional resumes are still the best fit  for many job searches.

A traditional resume will always allow the keywords from your resume to be picked up in an applicant tracking system. It can also be helpful to keep one more traditional document that lists all your experiences so you can refer back to it. It is also easier to format a traditional resume in the future.

Creative Resumes

Creative resumes add value to candidates in the Arts, Entertainment, and Graphics fields. You may be applying for positions that include elements of this.  If so, you may want to consider having both a traditional and creative resume.

LinkedIn

Creating a LinkedIn Profile is a great way to connect with employers and demonstrate your experiences, skills, and abilities. Jobs are posted daily through LinkedIn.

This presentation explains it best!
