Since our inception in 1971, The Foundation has dispersed over $750,000 in grants to those in need!!  

Our Grant Recipients include, but not limited to, the following:

• St. Joseph’s School for the Blind

• The ARC of Bergen and Passaic Counties

• Healing the Children 

• Wayne Foundation for the Handicapped

• New Jersey Eyeglass Recycling Center

• The Opportunity Center – Fair Lawn

• Lions Eye Research Foundation- “LERF”

• Pathways to Independence

• MAVIS-Music Association for Visually Impaired Students          

Grant applications are accepted from projects throughout NJ Lions MD 16 and Clubs in need of assistance with Club-sponsored Projects within their Communities that are within the realm of our criteria.  Grants are not given to individuals and are not awarded for salaries, administrative fees or other intangible items and are primarily for capital funding.  All grants are paid upon presentation of paid invoice. Upon presentation of paid invoice the awarded payment is forwarded to the Grantee.
