Warm-Up Lesson:
A wild wind storm blew through my neighborhood the other night. When I woke up the next morning, I found my neighbors trash all over my yard. While I was picking it up, I started to think about their story. What story do you think is told through the items I picked up?
apple juice pouch, fruit snacks wrapper, granola bar wrapper, broken reed, chewed up tennis ball, empty vitamin bottle, Lego bricks, empty coffee container, green slime.
In this inquiry unit, we will be examining historical artifacts to answer the question How are stories of people and places told?
