My name is Gabby, and I work full-time at the Writing Center. I have a B.A. in English Language and Literature from Central Washington University and an M.A. in English from Western Washington University. Needless to say, I'm a pretty big fan of words--both reading and writing them--which has led me to doing the awesome work of supporting students in their writing journeys. When I'm not at LB, you can find me watching horror movies, gaming, playing guitar, and making things.
Hi! My name is Dani, and I’m an Instructional Assistant in the Writing Center. I also provide embedded support in the WR121 Corequisite classes. I have a B.A. in English from Oregon State University and an M.A. in Publishing from Portland State University, where I worked a lot on book design and metadata. I love talking to people about their writing projects and books they’re reading. A lot of my free time is spent hanging out with my cat, watching movies with my roommate, and making silly embroidery projects for my friends.
Hello my name is J Webster and I am an Instructional Assistant here at LBCC. With my M.A. in English and a B.A. in English Literature, I teach WR121 here at LBCC. My research focus is on Rhetoric but that's opaque so, I just try to study everything related to the creative expression.
Hello, my name is Gisela and I am a peer writing assistant here at the writing center, as well as a second year student at LBCC. Outside of campus you can find me outdoors with my 15 year old Pomeranian, or at a pup friendly café. My hobbies include plant keeping, nature walks and keeping an illustrated journal. My preferred medium is watercolor, though most of my inked drawings are still waiting for the day I return with a paint brush.
Hi! My name is Helen, and I am working towards getting my associate's degree here at Linn-Benton Community College. Outside of class, I love to read, write, listen to music, and crochet. I’m excited to be working at the Writing Center, and hope to see you there soon!
Hello! My name is Nora, I’m a second year student and a peer writing assistant at LBCC. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family, friends, and dogs, knitting, baking, reading, and watching movies. I love meeting new people and I hope to see you in the Writing Center sometime!
