Return to LBCC Center for Accessibility Resources

To set up ReadSpeaker in either of these forms, you will first need to login to MyLB Single Sign-On and click on Canvas.

ReadSpeaker in Canvas

To access ReadSpeaker in Canvas, simply click on the ReadSpeaker icon on the left side of the screen, towards the bottom.

Once you are in Canvas, follow these instructions to set up the appropriate extension:

Select the ReadSpeaker TextAid option on within the blue menu on the left side of the screen.
Scroll down and click blue button.
A pop-up will appear. Click the blue 'I Understand' button.
In the gray menu that appears just to the right of the blue menu on the left side of the screen, select 'Web Reading'.
Select either 'Computer' or 'Mobile', depending on what type of device you are using.
Select the browser or platform that you are using and follow the steps provided.
