Our process for incomplete students in Moodle is super-simple:
Step #1 - Follow the steps on the LBCC Incomplete Policy.
Step #2 - Designate your Moodle course as one that an incomplete is in process. Add the letter “Z” to the front of your course full name. To do this, go to the settings page for your course, edit the full course name by adding a ‘Z’ to the beginning of the name and scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue "Save and display" button. Renaming the course will ensure that work completed in your Moodle course is captured in a backup file.
Step #3 - Communicate your expectations to your student(s) in an incomplete status, instructing them to continue working in your Moodle course.
IMPORTANT: Do not alter your Moodle course due dates or content. Utilize Moodle User Overrides to make incomplete student accommodations.
