About Me
This year begins my 23rd year of teaching. I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 4th grade students, including those with significant special needs. I am very excited to begin another year in 4th grade!

I graduated from Lindsay and met my husband Jaret in 1998. We married in 2001. I finished my bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in Special Education in 2004. We have two daughters, Kenlea (13) and Macey (8). I have taught in East Texas and Sanger before coming back home to Lindsay. We love to travel, be with friends, and farm/ranch!

Gradebook Policies and Homework
If your child receives a daily grade under a 70, they will have an opportunity to raise that daily grade. The paper will need to be corrected, signed by a parent/guardian, and returned to me by the following Monday. Corrections are to be completed in something other than pencil, preferably red or blue pen, without erasing the original work so I can see their improvements.
Math homework will be given out on Monday and due on Friday. There may be times that work that is not completed in class may come home as homework. In that case, it will need to be completed and returned the following day. More information can be found in the fourth grade packet that came home at the beginning of the school year.
If your child is absent, they will have one day for each day missed to complete assignments.
