PHASE 1 - Planning and Research
- Market Research: Research the demand for Mother's Day flowers in the Northern Rivers area. Identify potential customers.
- Variety Selection: Research different chrysanthemum varieties suitable for Mother's Day, considering factors like color, size, bloom time, and market demand.
- Budgeting: Develop a detailed budget for the project, including costs for seeds, soil, fertilizer, marketing materials, and other expenses.
- Business Plan: Create a business plan outlining the project goals, target market, marketing strategy, sales plan, and financial projections.
PHASE 2 - Implementation & Growing

Planting: Plant seedlings based on your chosen variety and timeline.
Growing: Implement proper planting, watering, and fertilization techniques based on the specific needs of chrysanthemums.
Pest and Disease Management: Monitor for common pests and diseases and implement appropriate control measures.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of activities, observations, and expenses throughout the growing process.
PHASE 3 - Marketing & Sales

Presentation: As a group you will present your Chrysanthemum Enterprise to Ms Mendoza and Mrs Foyster, highlighting your key achievements and learnings.
ASSESSMENT
- Project Portfolio: Each student will submit a comprehensive project portfolio documenting their planning, implementation, sales, financial results and reflections.
Teamwork & Participation: Individual contributions and participation within the group throughout the project.
