Welcome to 2nd Grade!

I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Prior to being a a sixth year teacher at School 5, I taught Math for grades 5 through 8 for three years. 

A few of my favorite things: 

Teaching, the beach, traveling, drawing, reading, crossword puzzles, crafting, spending time with my family and my dog, Jax, and anything outdoors. 

My Philosophy: I believe all children learn through every day life experiences. I encourage my students to ask questions and explore the unknown. I pride my students on taking responsibility and ownership of their own work and the choices they make.
