I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Prior to being a seventh year teacher at School 4, I taught Math for grades 5 through 8 for three years.
A few of my favorite things:
Teaching, the beach, gardening, visiting new places/restaurants, drawing, reading, crossword puzzles, crafting, spending time with my family and my dog, Hank, and anything outdoors.
My Philosophy: I believe all children learn through every day life experiences. I encourage my students to ask questions and explore the unknown. I pride my students on taking responsibility and ownership of their own work and the choices they make.
