I have been teaching agriculture mechanics at Linden High School since 2011. I grew up in the Stockton area and now now live on a local hobby farm which I run with my wife and kids. I earned a bachelor degree in Agriculture Business and Economics from CSU Stanislaus after which I spent a few years in agriculture chemical sales. I eventually decided that I wanted to teach and went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I earned a master degree in agriculture science which an emphasis on agriculture education and agriculture mechanics. I also earned a single subject teaching credential in Agriculture and a Agriculture Specialist Credential.
I am passionate about agriculture and enjoy being one of three agriculture teachers in the Linden high school agriculture department. We have an active agriculture program and FFA chapter which the three of us co-advise. I strive help all students learn skills for life and a depth of agricultural understanding that will make them informed citizens regardless of their path in life after high school.
