Continued Teaching at School No. 10 and Middlesex College

I continue to find time to teach as an Adjunct Instructor of History at Middlesex County College, as well as during model lessons at School No. 10 in order to keep current in my teaching strategies, as well as stay relevant with my own staff, particularly when discussing instruction and offering resources for implementation. I also joined Timmy Bauer of the Literacy Advocate this past December 2020 to discuss the topic of shared leadership.

Moving Towards Increased Equity for All

This past winter, renowned speaker, Patrick Briggs, spoke to district administrators about educational equity.

Outdoor Learning Center

This Spring, we created an outdoor learning area where staff can teach lessons outdoors, and students can benefit from being outside.

"Teach Like A Pirate"

In order to promote greater collective efficacy, and have fun at the same time, the educational book, "Teach Like A Pirate" was distributed last year to all staff. At the beginning of the year, a webcast was coordinated between our staff and the author, Dave Burgess.
