Have you been thinking about your future?
Do you know what careers are of interest to you?
Are you going to college or university after high school?
The purpose of this "one stop site" is to help answer some of these questions and provide students and parents with the websites needed to facilitate exploration and planning. The resources found here can foster a sense of direction for students as they pursue goals for their lives. Guests to the site can take online Interest Inventory Assessments to find out what career best fits them best and research the Job Market, including salaries, job growth rate, education requirements, and detailed descriptions. Families can also find Career Advice Videos and Career Links that include job seeking sites and apprenticeship and volunteer opportunities.
Preparing our Students for Post-Secondary Options
Our annual Education Fair for students in Grades 10–12 was a fantastic opportunity for them to explore post-secondary pathways!
This essential event provided students with direct access to representatives from a wide spectrum of academic, trades, ministry, and military institutions, helping them envision their future beyond Linden Christian School.
A huge thank you to all our exhibitors who joined us to share their valuable insights and program details:
Universities & Colleges: University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg, Brandon University, Red River College PolyTech, Manitoba Institute of Trades & Technology (MITT), and Winnipeg Herzing College.
Christian & Bible Colleges: Providence University College, Canadian Mennonite University (CMU), Briercrest College & Seminary, Booth University College, Steinbach Bible College, Millar College of the Bible, and Prairie College.
Service & Vocational: Canadian Armed Forces.
We’re committed to ensuring our students have access to information on a full spectrum of paths as they plan their next steps!
