Have you been thinking about your future?
Do you know what careers are of interest to you?
Are you going to college or university after high school?
The purpose of this "one stop site" is to help answer some of these questions and provide students and parents with the websites needed to facilitate exploration and planning. The resources found here can foster a sense of direction for students as they pursue goals for their lives. Guests to the site can take online Interest Inventory Assessments to find out what career best fits them best and research the Job Market, including salaries, job growth rate, education requirements, and detailed descriptions. Families can also find Career Advice Videos and Career Links that include job seeking sites and apprenticeship and volunteer opportunities.
Preparing our Students for Post-Secondary Options
At Linden Christian School, we work with families to provide a well rounded education for our students as they are guided to shape meaningful lives.
Grade 10-12 students had the opportunity to visit an Education and Career Fair from the comfort of their own school hallway on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Representatives from the following institutions had displays and resources for inquiring students: The University of Manitoba, University of Winnipeg, Providence University College and Theological Seminary, Red River College, Canadian Mennonite University, Briercrest Bible College, Steinbach Bible College, Brandon University, Nipawin Bible College, Herzing College, the Armed Forces, Booth College, and Millar College of the Bible.
Students had time to chat and collect information about post secondary options as they begin to prepare for graduation and next steps.
