Unit 2 Bible Test: Friday, September 19th
Reading:
This week, our third grade classes will be learning about problem and solution in a story. We'll explore how characters face challenges (the problem) and the ways they try to fix or resolve them (the solution). Students will practice identifying these parts in the texts to help them better understand story structure.
Grammar:
In grammar, we'll be focusing on subjects and predicates, the two main parts of a sentence. We'll also work on identifying complete sentences and fragments. Students will learn how to recognize when a group of words expresses a complete thought and when it's missing something important.
Spelling:
In Spelling, we will continue working with two specific patterns: suffixes and short vowels with consonant blends.
We’re excited to dive into these foundational skills and look forward to a great week of learning!
