This week in Bible, we will cover "Inductive Bible Study"
Character Trait: Reverence
Memory Verse:(Psalm 119:105)
“Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.”
Parent Connect Questions:
How is the Bible like a lamp? (The Bible is like a lamp because it helps us see what is true, just as a lamp gives off light that helps us see; the Bible guides us and shows us how to live, just as the light from a lamp can show us where to go.)
Why is it important to handle the Bible rightly? (We want to handle the Bible rightly because it is God's Word; we want to handle it rightly so we will know what is true; we want to handle it rightly so we will know how God wants us to live.)
3. What two steps do we take when we are studying the Bible? (We take the steps of observation and interpretation.)
What attitude should you have toward God and His Word? (We should have the attitude of reverence, which means showing by your words and actions that you respect, honor, and value God and His Word.)
We will continue In Superkids Unit 2 and book clubs. Reminder that backpack pages are optional but a great resource.
