International Film Course Syllabus
The course assessment consists of a Film Reflection Worksheet to be completed in class after viewing each film. Some class time will be provided to complete the review. If you need more time or you are absent, you will need to complete the work outside of class.
Additionally, a course participation, preparation, and spectatorship grade will be given for each film.
The Film Review Worksheet counts as a 100 point assessment. I will not accept late work. All work should be remitted through Canvas to Mr. Von Vogt. The assessed grade will depend on the quality of your answers. You will need an electronic device for class as all submissions must be rendered through Canvas as indicated. If absent, you will need to come in to view the film at lunch or after school.
- The participation, attendance, and spectatorship grade is a 50 point assessment for the following:
Attendance: Punctual attendance to each class except for excused absences for which
proper make-up work is submitted
Spectatorship: Attentiveness during the film and unengaged electronic devices. Possession of an online device to complete written assessments.
