What is CREATIVE THINKING?

Creative thinking encourages students to use a variety of approaches to solve problems, analyze multiple viewpoints, adapt ideas, and arrive at new solutions. Sometimes it is referred to as divergent thinking. The processes in creative thinking include fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration.

Critical Thinking Ideas

1. Teach Something - Is there something that you are really good at, something that you do very well? Make a 1 minute video explaining or teaching someone else how to do it.

2. Create Something - Create a solution to a problem (e.g. how to help people stay connected and feel appreciated during stressful times, how to help nursing home patients, a new morning routine, etc.

3. Learn Something New - learn how to cook a nutritional meal, budget money for the week, create a grocery list to feed your family for a week, something you want to learn.
