Meet the Teachers:
Kathryn is in her 13th year of teaching and has been at HMS since 2014. She is a certified 5-8 ELA teacher and K-12 Literacy Specialist. She is the mom of two boys, Evan (4.5) and Ethan (3). Kathryn loves reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Sarah begins her 20th year of teaching and has been at Hanscom Middle School for the past 18 years. Previously a 5th grade teacher, Sarah is in her third year teaching 6th Grade Mathematics. Sarah loves spending time with her family as well as playing games, reading, and completing puzzles.
Rebecca is in her 17th year of teaching. This is her 6th year at Hanscom. She has two children, one in 4th grade and one in 7th. She loves to travel, cook and spend time with friends and family.
Katie is in her 17th year teaching. This is her fourth year at Hanscom Middle School. She was born and raised in Florida, but grew up visiting family in Massachusetts. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling, and watching sports and Broadway shows.
Chris Damon is in her 13th year of teaching and 4th year at HMS. She is a certified K-12 Spanish and Social Studies teacher. She grew up in Massachusetts but has also lived and worked in Vermont, Nicaragua and El Salvador. She and her partner enjoy hiking, traveling and gardening. She has a son Javier (20) in college.
Tim is in his 4th year of teaching and his first year joining HMS. He is a certified Special Education Teacher in Moderate Disabilities K-8. He is a father of one girl (7). Tim loves music, playing guitar, playing games, reading, watching movies and shows and spending time with family.
