Hi! I am Dr. Ellen Morrison, OTR/L. I have been an occupational therapist for over 15 years, and recently received my doctorate in occupational therapy from the University of Saint Augustine School for Health Sciences. I have experience working with people of all ages, from premature infants in the neonatal intensive care to those older than 100 years old! Occupational therapy is my passion and I strongly believe that with personalized, skilled services, pain, among other ailments, may be improved without heavy reliance on pain medications or surgery.

Occupational therapy is the use of functional daily activities to guide rehabilitation using interventions specific to each individual. Occupational therapists use a variety of intervention methods, from movement, to strengthening, to manual techniques, and many more. By using daily functional tasks, like work tasks, or home-making tasks as a guide, occupational therapists can tailor exercise programs and interventions to target specific needs.
