Welcome to Pickles Journal! This is a creative writing activity we do all year long in 4th Grade. I have a stuffed hamster "class pet" that the students named Pickles. Every Friday I spin a wheel to decide who gets to take him home for the weekend. That student then takes him home and takes pictures of their fun time together. When they return him to school on Monday they then write in his journal in the classroom but they write in the Point of View of Pickles! Then I type it online for families to also see. Enjoy his amazing adventures!
