P.R.P.S. is a K-8 school with 13 classrooms and roughly 315 students.

Our students enjoy a large country outdoor lot with multiple play structures, sports fields, rocks, trees and basketball courts.

Arriving at school

Drop-off at the gate of the Kindergarten yard between 9:05 a.m and 9:15 a.m.
Pick-up is outside of the gate of the Kindergarten yard at 3:35 p.m.
For the safety of all children, we ask that parents drop-off and pick-up children outside of the gate, near the guest parking lot.
If you need to pick your child up early, or if you arrive after school has started, please go to the main office to sign your child in or out.

What are they?

20 minutes of eating and 20 minutes of recess (Kindergarten classes often extend these times to meet student needs).

What to pack?

KFL&A Public Health has an excellent resource packed with ideas and information for packing your child’s lunch for school:

Pack your child a water bottle to refill throughout the day.
Practice with your child so they can open and close lunch packaging, containers and lunch bags.

*We are asking that you do your best to pack litter-less lunches!

Idea: Over the summer, help your child practice for school nutrition breaks using their lunch containers and making healthy choices of what to eat.
