Youth Outreach Undeterred

About Life of Victory Youth Outreach Undeterred 2

Life of Victory Youth Outreach Undeterred 2 is funded through the Behavioral Health Recovery Services Project that comes from the California Department of Healthcare Services and The Center at Sierra Health Foundation. The purpose of the program is to expand access to and the utilization of behavioral health recovery services. The project takes a health equity approach to remove barriers to care for communities of color, people with disabilities, and others who have faced discrimination and unequal access to behavioral health care systems. The LOVYOU2 program specifically focuses on underserved and at-risk youth in Kings & Tulare County.

LOVYOU2 hosts weekly sessions for youth in Kings County that involve prevention education around mental health and substance use, life skills such as financial education and conflict resolution, as well as homework help and tutoring. About Life of Victory Youth Outreach Undeterred (OG)

Life of Victory Youth Outreach Undeterred was originally funded by The Center at Sierra Health Foundation through their Elevate Youth California grant to help prevent and decrease substance use/abuse and overdoses among youth ages 12-26 in Kings County. The funding for the original program ended in 2024.

There is good news! New funding sources have come through and the original Life of Victory Youth Outreach Undeterred program will be coming back. Stay tuned for more details!
