LiLi EOB Upload is a browser extension provided by LiLi Solutions for use by authorised billing staff. It is not available to the general public.
What the extension handles
When you sign in and upload documents, the extension handles:
Your account information — the email address you sign in with, and the authentication tokens issued to your browser after a successful sign-in.
Documents you upload — Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and remittance files. These may contain protected health information and payment details relating to patients.
What is stored on your device
The extension stores the following locally in your browser, using chrome.storage.local:
Access and refresh tokens for your signed-in session
Your signed-in email address
Optionally, a remembered email address to pre-fill the sign-in form
The position and open or closed state of the floating panel
Your password is never stored. Locally stored values remain in your browser profile and are cleared when you sign out.
Where data is sent
Uploaded documents and sign-in requests are transmitted to the LiLi payment-posting backend operated by LiLi Solutions. The extension contacts no other remote service. Documents are processed so that payment information can be posted into eClinicalWorks.
How the data is used
Data is used solely to authenticate you and to process the documents you upload. It is not sold to third parties, not used or transferred for any purpose unrelated to the function described above, and not used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
Protected health information
LiLi Solutions acts as a Business Associate in respect of protected health information handled through this extension, and processes it under the terms of the applicable Business Associate Agreement with the covered entity.
Retention
Locally stored session data is cleared when you sign out, as described above. Backend retention follows LiLi's service configuration and customer agreements.
