Tabitha has always been interested in people; who they are, what they do, what makes them tick and how they feel.
She loves to bring people together for a creative experience that levels the playing field and creates space where people feel safe to connect (to themselves and each other).
They leave a session with a little more understanding of who they are and how to choose a helpful mindset to feel better and do better.
But it’s the fun and laughter that people have together that makes it a ‘sitcky’ experience and enables helpful conversations to continue in day to day work conversations.
With fifteen years corporate HR experience across the Retail, Finance and FMCG sectors, Tabitha learnt her trade in specialist roles (L&D, Engagement, Inclusion, Communications and HR Operations). She has first-hand experience working in large, fast paced, constantly evolving organisations and so understands and can relate to challenges faced in today’s workplace.
A creator of community, Tabitha founded Maidenhead's Tuneless Choir (choirs for people who don't sing in tune).
She describes it as 'active mindfulness' - choosing to be in the moment, embracing something you might not be very good at and learning to let go of the judgment and inhibitions that hold us back from enjoying it.
Her style has been described as 'totally infectious' - in a good way!
Following the global pandemic experience, Tabitha also delivers 'Virtually Tuneless' - an inclusive online option for people who for whatever reason are unable to get to an in person choir (anxiety, caring responsibilities, mobility challenges) or simply prefer the experience of singing from their sofa.
Power of Uke is all about learning 21st Century skills like growth mindset, creativity, empathy, dealing with ambiguity (all the buzz words) but through the medium of the ukulele, rather than some dry PowerPoint.
Ridiculously energising and highly transformational workshops help teams unleash their creativity, understand what's holding them back, and give a break from the day to day grind.
